Way beyond " The Crown "! Meghan Markle and Harry are taking another step into their new lives away from royal commitments and have just signed a multi-year, powerful contract with Netflix - and it all has to do with all of their social work. That's because, in a statement to The New York Times, the couple says their focus will be on “creating content that notifies, but also gives hope”.

According to the publication, the couple created a production company and intends to create various types of content such as documentaries, television shows, feature films and children's programs.

“As new parents, making an inspiring family schedule is also important for us,” says the couple. According to the New York Times, Meghan and Harry may appear on camera during their productions, but made it clear that Markle herself was not interested in returning to acting.

“We are extremely proud that they chose Netflix as their creative home and look forward to telling stories with them that can help build resilience and increase understanding for audiences everywhere,” says Ted Sarandos, co-CEO and director of Netflix content in a statement to the Times.

The publication also points out that the couple already has an animation in progress, which seeks to inspire women. Recalling that recently Netflix launched Rising Phoenix, a documentary about the Paralympic games in which Harry appears. Sussex doesn't stop!

Another powerful couple has a similar contract with Netflix: Michelle and Barack Obama! The two also have a multi-year agreement to produce various types of projects such as documentaries. Can we already look forward to a collaboration between the Sussex and the Obamas?
