To celebrate the end-of-year holidays, Maison Palomas has teamed up with internationally renowned architect and designer India Mahdavi . An encounter between two exceptional worlds: that of excellent chocolate and that of vibrant and colorful design . This collaboration marks a series of unique creations, where Palomas ' artisanal know-how is enriched by India Mahdavi's sunny and multicultural aesthetic.

A collaboration under the sign of audacity and elegance

For the first time, India Mahdavi reinvents the famous Bishop stool, one of her iconic pieces, by transforming it into a chocolate delicacy. "I had always dreamed of making a Bishop in chocolate," she confides. This creation marks a double tribute: to the 25 years of her iconic stool and to the richness of Iranian flavors that permeate her imagination.

Dominique Clerc, master chocolatier at Maison Palomas , has designed a unique recipe for this project. Bishop Palomas combines the depth of Peruvian dark chocolate with the refined sweetness of Iranian pistachio, lightly roasted and enhanced by a touch of fleur de sel. Each chocolate is composed of three stacked discs, evoking the original curves of the stool and inviting sharing. Presented on a bed of Abbassi mauve, a signature color inspired by the Persian miniaturist Reza Abbassi, these chocolates embody elegance and history.

India Mahdavi: Colors and Shapes in the Service of the Art of Chocolate

Known for her bold chromatic designs and organic forms, India Mahdavi has established her style on the international stage. A prolific architect and designer, she is behind iconic projects such as the Connaught bar and The Gallery at Sketch in London and the Monte Carlo Beach in Monaco. Her work transcends disciplines, blending graphics, design and architecture with a fluidity that reflects her cosmopolitan journey – from Tehran to Paris, via the United States and Germany.

Her approach, described as "polychrome and polyglot", finds a new echo here. With Palomas , she dresses boxes and bags with the Criss Cross pattern, a contemporary reinterpretation of tartan. This graphic and colorful design, the signature of her world, fits perfectly with the festive and warm spirit of Maison Palomas.

Bishop Palomas: a gourmet escape

At the heart of this collaboration lies a unique sensory experience, where design and gastronomy meet. Intense dark chocolate, combined with Iranian pistachio and enhanced with a hint of fleur de sel, evokes Persian markets and their captivating aromas. Each bite transports the taster on a journey between tradition and modernity, while celebrating creativity and artisanal know-how.

This collaboration, the result of a dialogue between the art of chocolate and the world of design, illustrates the vision shared by Palomas and India Mahdavi : that of an accessible, sincere luxury resolutely focused on the pleasure of the senses.
