If there was a costume that defined the fashion of <a href="https://www.lofficiel.co.uk/Fashion/tail-trend-is-coming-back-gucci-versace">the 90s</a> and <a href="https://www.lofficiel.co.uk/Fashion/2000s-are-back-trends-inspiration">2000s</a>, it was <a href="https://www.lofficiel.co.uk/Fashion/2000s-are-back-trends-inspiration">&quot; Sex and the City &quot;</a>, and the main responsible for this made by Patricia Field. Her work became internationally known, and years later, in 2006, she signed the looks for another important production, &quot;The Devil Wears Prada&quot; - in the latter, Patricia even got nominated for the Oscar for Best Costume Design, but lost to Milena Canonero in <a href="https://www.lofficiel.co.uk/film-tv/how-to-create-party-marie-antoinette-film">Sofia Coppola&#39;s &quot;Maria Antonieta&quot;.</a>

With the return of the award-winning series, a question remained in the air: Would Patricia return as a costume designer? Unfortunately, the answer was negative, but at the time the production was announced, the reason was not clear. But so far so good, since some members of the original cast, like Kim Cattral, who plays <a href="https://www.lofficiel.co.uk/pop-culture/sex-and-the-city-samantha-s-best-quotes">Samantha Jones, </a>announced that they were not involved in the new project.

She did the series with me from start to finish &quot;.

Patricia is currently filming the second season of &quot;Emily in Paris&quot;, but she made sure to leave the work of &quot;Sex and the City&quot; in trustworthy hands.
