In addition, the similarities, even physiognomic, are incredible.

Although Spencer is granted the status of an injured party, Lady D. is not portrayed simply as the poor innocent victim of a harmful marriage. Moreover, the screenwriter also does the same with the characters of Philip (played by Tobias Menzies ) and Princess Margaret (played by Helena Bonham Carter ): although the difficult life conditions of these characters are highlighted, often forced to canceling oneself to live for the Queen (played in this fourth season by Olivia Colman ), just like the planets revolving around the sun, you don&#39;t just focus on this side of the coin. At the same time, Morgan does not fail to underline how these characters are characterized by excessively individualistic and insensitive egos.
