Tartan skirt alert: from catwalks to TV series
From the Scottish Highlands to American colleges, the tartan of kilts has become a skirt and made fashion history, no one will ever forget the splendid skirts worn by the spoiled Cher in "Clueless" (the anniversary of the famous 90s cult) or Rachel's skirts in "Friends" . But the tartan skirt is also popular in New York's Upper East Side. In fact, in "Gossip Girl" the famous duo Serena Wan Der Woodsen - Blair Waldorf made us dream with outfits including various tartan items, to be worn during the day but also in the evening. In the Fall / Winter collections there has been no designer who has not proposed his own personal version of the tartan skirt: mini, midi, long. There are no limits to the palette either. Alongside the classic red and green, we also find pink, orange, electric blue, brown and gray at the forefront. From Gucci to Versace, from Dior to Chanel, tartan is the protagonist.
