Isabella Blow and Alexander McQueen

Fashion editor, talent scout and style icon: Isabella Blow was one of the most influential figures in the fashion biz, discoverer of talents of the caliber of Philip Treacy and <a href="https://www.lofficielitalia.com/uomo/alexandermcqueen-springsummer2020-eccehomo-lfwm" target="_blank">Alexander McQueen</a> , of whom she was the inspiring muse. It was the year 1992 when the &ldquo;mad hatter&rdquo;, during the closing ceremony of Central Saint Martins in London, was struck by the collection of a young rookie Alexander , between dark and fairytale, characteristics that seemed to describe herself. Confident of the designer&#39;s talent, she bought all the pieces at a cost of &pound; 5,000, exhausting her savings. It was the beginning of a brotherly friendship, which also shared the same tragic fate: Blow committed suicide in 2008 and McQueen in 2010.
