The specialist Jean-Pierre Ollier was recruited by Maria Grazia Chiuri to recreate a magnificent decoupage technique from the 18th century. Known as lacca povera , this particular method uses screen-printed motifs, which are later made by hand. This captivating procedure contrasts various painted and embroidered elements on lace and then flawlessly assembled them, without following any traditional sewing method.
