The Couture serenity of Giorgio Armani Privé
“Serene in their beauty, pearls are historically associated with the moon, water, wisdom, purity and love,” the designer reveals of the entry point to his fall Haute Couture collection -winter 2024-25.
“Feeling a widespread need for serenity and constantly seeking a calm and intimate quality, the Giorgio Armani Privé fall-winter 2024-25 collection is built around pearls ,” reveals the creator of the eponymous House in an Instagram post. Full of poetry and wisdom, this Couture collection takes on many meanings and values — sometimes synonymous with love, sometimes associated with holistic beliefs and scope. Among them, ideas referring to the moon, water, purity and love.
Unlike the previous season, which was more aquatic , the silhouettes presented highlight, emphasize and are more inspired by the roundness, iridescence and brilliance of a pearl thanks to pieces that hug the curves and shards that attract light. The models and muses are thus dressed in sculpted jackets with powerful shoulders and flowing pants, enveloping coats, liquid tops and skirts, or even long dresses which outline the silhouette and allow each trembling and delicate movement of the body to be perfectly perceived. .
