The shirt that connects emotions and people and comfy - sculptural attitude seen by Satoshi Kondo

&ldquo;Beyond the different languages and cultures, can we be united by the emotions we share? &ldquo; This is the question asked by Satoshi Kondo , who made his debut as creative director of Issey Miyake last September in Paris. The answer is, or should be, no doubt yes. Issey Miyake&#39;s Fall-Winter 2020 collection speaks of cultural and emotional inclusiveness, with a show-performance in which it is good for the heart to see a long &ldquo;sweater shirt&rdquo; that wears several models, connected to each other through the different sleeves, such as say we are stronger together, the dress unites us, the emotion brings us closer. The show is divided into various moments which correspond to precise artisan techniques, including the A-POC * system, where the outlines of the clothes themselves are impressed on the fabric of the clothes, through clear and graphic lines, helping to create a strong silhouette and precise. An important part of prints within the collection are made with the decal technique, that is, transferred from one print to another even between different shapes; the effect confuses giving the impression that a shirt and a jacket are, for example, a unique piece. The print called &quot;aurora&quot; is designed for clothes that evoke the delicate and sparkling light of a mysterious northern lights. The print on the thin and translucent fabric represents the snow that falls softly covering the vegetation already waiting to sprout. The series of colored padded jackets is transformed with interchangeable pieces through simple zips, while maintaining the comfy-sculptural look of the maison.
