All the details of Chanel Métiers d'Art
For its Métiers d'Art collection, which celebrates the savoir-faire of the French brand, Chanel returned to Paris - more precisely, the Grand Palais, after performing shows in places like Hamburg and New York.
To mark the first Pre-f-Fall show with Virginie Viard as the head designer, she was inspired by a very important reference in Chanel's history: Gabrielle Chanel's apartment at 31 rue Cambon. For this, she invited the filmmaker Sofia Coppola, who signed the decoration of the show impeccably.
The new age of the designer is marked by a more modern, young, sexy and bold woman. Silver-shaded makeup and applications showed a slight drama and power, while the clothes had the classic Chanel codes - like number 5, wheat branches and camellia - featured in some bold trends. Virginie proves she's not afraid to play with the cool and presented us with marked shoulders, sparkles, tie dye, low waists and belly-out with metallic belts (well 2000s!)
In the front row, we could find all the brand ambassadors and the loyal friends such as Penelope Cruz, Marion Cotillard, Vanessa Paradi and Kristen Stewart were present.
