The Japanese brand collaborates with the minimalist designer for an Autumn Winter 2020-21 collection available from November 12 in stores and online.

After the Uniqlo x JW Anderson collaboration, the Japanese brand, as previously announced, collaborates with <a href="https://www.lofficielitalia.com/moda/jil-sander-uniqlo-linea-j-collezione-autunno-inverno-2020">Jil Sander</a> <a href="https://www.lofficielitalia.com/moda/jil-sander-uniqlo-linea-j-collezione-autunno-inverno-2020">for the Fall Winter 2020-21 collection</a> . The German designer interpreter of minimalism returns after 11 years with the + J collection for men and women. A timeless wardrobe defined by a study on the contemporary uniform destined to last over time. &ldquo;I defined the modern global uniform with this in mind: clothes should be long lasting and durable. They should serve the wearer and provide her or him with that energy and self-esteem that is so necessary in our global reality, &rdquo; explained Jil Sander. Iconic and versatile garments, silhouettes defined enough to be architectural, the collection is composed of outerwear that includes hybrid down jackets, utility jackets, military jackets, and cashmere blend coats with an impeccable fit. And still tailored jackets and gabardine trousers have a ruffled finish, oversized shirts are available in a classic palette ranging from ivory to black and white or striped contrasts and to close the knitwear made of fine-knit cashmere, merino wool and blends wool. Long knitted dresses for women and a sculptural skirt that imprints the essential aesthetic of the German designer. &quot;I don&#39;t work with visions or muses, nor with moodboards.&quot; explained Jil Sander from Germany to Uniqlo&#39;s Life Wear Magazine , &quot;My creativity is based on wearability and experimentation with fabrics. I exclude and at the same time push in certain directions. As I said, my eyes are tuned to the emerging form.&quot;
